Château d'Estoublon

Chateau d'Estoublon is located on the southern slopes of the Alpilles, in the heart of Provence, where their orchards and vineyards have been classified A.O.P (PDO) including its famous olive oil "Les Baux de Provence" since 1995. With 212 acres of olive trees and 47 acres of vineyards, Chateau dEstoublon is rightly considered to be one of the most outstanding sites in the region.

The estate is known for its five olive cultivars — Grossane, Saloneque, Beruguette, Picholine and Bouteillan — each of which possesses a distinctive profile that can be alternately delicate, spicy, fruity or light, with aromas of grass, pollen, artichokes, truffle or almond. The olives are harvested by hand from early November to mid-December.

All their extra virgin olives are then cold extracted and pressed in their own mill, wich allows cutting down the time between the harvest and the final production of the oils to 24 hours only, a key element in guaranteeing their aromatic quality.

From the cultivation of the fruit, olives and grapes, to the sale of their bottles, sprays and boxes, each step is carried out according to the strict specifications of Château d'Estoublon. Grapes and olives are cultivated and worked on the estate, respecting organic agriculture and following exclusively manual and mechanical manufacturing processes, without the use of any chemicals.
So good are its oils that Château d’Estoublon took three gold awards at the 2020 New York International Olive Oil Competition, the industry’s equivalent of the Oscars.
